PRODUCTION

MSME Technology Centre, formerly known as Process and Product Development Centre (PPDC), Agra, is a premier institution established in 1985 by the Government of India in collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh and UNDP/UNIDO. Dedicated to the technological advancement of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the Foundry and Forging sectors, the Centre plays a pivotal role in enhancing industrial competitiveness and innovation. Since becoming an autonomous body in 1986, PPDC has evolved into a hub for cutting-edge training, precision tooling, product development, and consultancy services.

With a strong foundation in technology development and a vision aligned with national growth objectives, the Centre offers a wide range of industry-relevant programs and services designed to upskill the workforce and support entrepreneurs. PPDC is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including CAD/CAM labs, testing facilities, and tool rooms, making it a one-stop destination for MSMEs seeking quality improvement, design innovation, and business growth. Through continuous innovation, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to excellence, the Centre empowers industries to thrive in a rapidly evolving global market.

How It Works

Our 5-Step Production Process

A structured, transparent process that takes your requirement from initial inquiry all the way to delivered output.

Step 1

Inquiry & Scope

Submit your requirement. Our engineers review your drawings, samples, or concept and define project scope.

Step 2

Technical Assessment

Feasibility study, material selection, and process mapping. A detailed technical proposal is shared.

Step 3

Design & Tooling

CAD modelling, tooling design, and fixture preparation. Approved by your team before manufacturing begins.

Step 4

Production & QC

Manufacturing with continuous in-process inspection. First article inspection report (FAIR) provided.

Step 5

Delivery & Handover

Final inspection, documentation, and delivery. Post-delivery technical support included.
